4 walls and a roof

We bought the house over a year ago……….it is still in pretty much exactly the same state it was in when we first got it. A gang of squatters (is that the correct collective noun? Surely it should be something like ‘infestation’…) came and went, I had a New Years Eve party, and a few random evenings early this year were spent inviting friends over to finish off the dregs of the NYE booze. Apart from new windows that’s about all that’s happened in about 15 months, but I thought here would be a good a place as any, and now would be as good a time as any, to put together a few ideas, record (any) progress, and generally end up with something nice to read and look at.
